There isn't one. Receiver, stock, butt plate and foreend should be stamped

Sometimes there will be a serial number (or partial serial number) on the bottom of the barrel, but only sometimes.

How many here have a rifle with the full serial number stamped on the barrel?

I've had two;both were early engraved rifles. In may experience, a good many model k's had the last 3 digits of the serial numbers under the barrel. Also had a cased set with the last 3 digits on the 410 barrel.

I had a 22HP with what appeared to be a serial stamped in the very end of the barrel... I.E. the face of chamber area. I sold the gun online and the buyer sent it back b/c the serial numbers did not match... I had never seen anything like that before. Not sure how or when it got there but I was not really going to argue with the buyer even though he was a total jerk.

I have 2 99G's in .303 that have the last 3 digits stamped underside barrel above the "OFF" marking. All numbers match.

Interestingly, #291xxx has type I forearm and #301xxx has type II.
