I have a model 99 takedown receiver and no barrel. Can I get a barrel made up for a .357 and will they chamber?

If no to the above who will make a barrel for a .250 Savage foe me?

a 357 SUPERMAG made from a 300Sav would work with a cartridge guide change, smile

Better get on a particular popular auction site and bid on that takedown forearm and hardware...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TWINKELTOES got ya guesing EH

take a 300 case and neck it to 357 or a 308 and run it shorter more brass to work with .
either neck with a shoulder or tapered like a 32-40 or 38-55.
tapered case might work for those few states that demand a pistol cartridge or a non neck cartridge .
Naturally a necked case with a shoulder will hold more powder, more bang, grin

just a few thoughts either way you can use a 300 sav with a slight rechamber and rebore

NO, NO, Norm. not until Jew Lie, thank ya kindly for the good thots any how.
If'n, it was my action, and I wanted to build to a .357 caliber, which I don't, I think that I would prefer a rimmed case--.30-30, necked up to .357. However, I would prefer the .250 idea!
