What's different? Everything works like it always did for me. Is this format incompatible with some operating systems?

If you want to go straight back to the top of the forum opening page go up near the left top corner where you'll see what I've put in quotes and click on "Savage Collectors.)

Click the back arrow or hit the backspace button at the end of a thread, and it will take you back a page in the browser.

I liked the old format, I guess because I was used to it. This is the exact same format that is on the Arboristsite I hang out on, so not a big deal, Joe.

Was just on the Arboristsite and it's not exactly the same, but very close, so feels familiar enough to use. If Gary didn't even notice the change I'll get used to it. It just takes some of us old guys longer to get used to change. Oh, that's right, I'm not old, compared to Gary, Joe grin

That's how I've always done it anyway. What has changed?

The link at the end of a thread took you back to the main page and refreshed the page at the same time. Then you knew what threads had been read. Now it takes extra navigation to refresh the main page - and I don't like it either!
Posted By: gnoahhh Re: Rick new format - 05/18/17
Huh. I see. Whenever I wanted to refresh a page I always clicked on the refresh tab on my tool bar, still do. My Luddite self learned to do that eons ago and it is so second nature that I never realized there was another option.

I guess it's all relative, being that I live in a state of confusion. Joe.

see, I don't want it to refresh the page. Takes too long. Just back up and click on the next unread thread.

It's all about efficiency. grin

Speaking of efficiency, is there a better way to read these posts than to print out hard copies and then read them? Sometimes it takes days to make it through one thread. grin
Posted By: JoeMartin Re: Rick new format - 05/18/17
You can print them? I've been getting my son to transcribe them for me.

On a more serious note, is anybody else experiencing a glitch with the calendar on this site?

I have windows 10. Don't see much difference, other than how I sign in . . .
