Its a Redfield 70 with hunter knobs. You should look at eBay for ultimate value.
There are several on Ebay over $100 that have been around for awhile with no bids. The ones under $100 bid up to around $100 and sell quickly around. $100 - $120 seems to be the approximate price range I see them go for, at least over the last couple of months. Maybe more if you wanted to hang on and wait for someone to buy it when no more are available.

The 70L Redfields have plunged for that last two months, people are picking them up right now on average for around $80 cause Ebays plugged full of them.

The guys getting high prices are the ones with target turrets and even then it's only guys with deep pockets thinking they won't have a chance at another one.

I can remember when they were selling for $250 all the time, even the Winchester peep sights are gone down by about %50 of what they were. They market will die out and the prices will come back up, always do, just gotta hoard the sights till they do.
Thanks Guys

Jerry
I’ve noticed the price of other things is down on eBay too. I follow old bamboo fly rods and there have been some screaming deals going on. I just picked up a “top shelf” 8.5-foot 3/2 Horrocks Ibbotson Hi Test with sock and tube for a hundred bucks shipped. It’s not like my 8.5-ft Phillipson Paragon but still far from a slouch. As they say, “if the river don’t rise and the levee holds” it will be used on trout this year!
Just another esoteric example of collectors driving the market for such things as sights. Guys turn to collecting sights, ammunition, and other accoutrements of gunning because they can't afford to put together huge collections of the guns they go with. The net result is regular guys who still actually use the stuff and aren't trying to build collections can't afford them.

Tell me why a Lyman 48WJS is worth $250, or a Lyman 30 1/2 is worth the same or more? Crazy, I tell ya! The number of fellas actually seeking them out for use on their rifles is shrinking- literally dying out- so why are the prices escalating? Collectors, I tell ya, collectors.
Collectors with deep, deep pockets. I have a buddy who pretty much fits that mold these days and he used to not.
