I’ve never heard of one.. but starting to play with Cerakote ... which got me thinking.

If you Cerakote one then you wouldn’t have to be so careful with it in bad weather.
Seen a few. One of guys here has done it. He might be out hunting right now.
Our resident coated has even done them gold!
Don't even START !!! laugh
I sent Roy a text this morning, hasn't got back yet. I suspect he's still looking for an Elk.

maybe with the golden 99? grin
I was just thinking a guy could pick up on cheap that had surface stuff going on, provided the bore was clean and then Cerakote it to look blue

Hey potlickers! You miss the Man with the Golden Gun already? grin

Powdercoat is ABSOLUTELY bulletproof. Ceracoat not so much. Wears like iron, no joke. Skip the ceracoat, it's a gimmick. This gun hunted three days in 21" of rain and was just perfect when done.

Yeah we missed ya, but did you get anything with the golden gun?
The GoldenGun got it's barrel lopped off 2" and Roy (everyone's personal slave it seems) didn't get it sighted in before elk season. Hunted with the 375 carbine this year. Passed on a small bull in a herd tying to get the bigger one and came home empty.
