Recently received an Ingram with jigged G10 scales and a kydex sheath. The knife-kydex fit is amazing, it snaps in hard and comes out with a good amount of force. My question is, will taking the knife in and out over time wear the G10 handle down? Seems like to me after a while the handle would start to wear from being forced in and out.

I’d say no.

For it to damage the g10 i would think the fit would be so tight that you couldn’t remove it.

I've got a couple jigged and beaded g10 knives from gene with kydex sheaths that fit super snug.

No damage from years of use that I can see

I modified my ingram sheath to have an IWB clip. I had some leftover chicago screws so I replaced the "tension rivet" with a chicago screw with just the right amount of tension (I thought the way it came was a little too stiff for my liking). Id be happy to text you a pic of what i did.
