After I get the knife, I'll post some pictures. This one is something special.
I’m lookin’ forward to seein’ it Sam. I think all of Rick’s knives are somethin’ special. The dude is as good at his craft (or better) as anyone I’ve ever known of has been at theirs.
Tapered tangs, swedges and hollow grinds…..

Rick is on point on all 3.

Lot of makers “taper” the tang.

BS. Rick tapers it to ‘nothin. 😍
Can't wait to see it, Sam
Tease...
I've seen the previews of this knife....I truly wish it were heading to MY mailbox instead! LOL

Beautiful knife my friend.....enjoy it!!
sadly, the 1911 is not coming along with the Chute knife. I will work with Larry Parsons for a sheath, but timing was critical, and I am just getting the knife now.
This scratches a long standing itch. smile

Oh ya Sam, that’s a dandy!! I might have to order one up if ya don’t mind.
That really is something special. Congratulations! Just got a Lil’ Dumplin in green micarta with red liners so I’m all about your handle choice and the corbys. Exceptional knife.

Copy that, guess I’ll have to butter him up a little 😂
Always thought that pattern looked really cool.
Never got around to copying it though. That may have to change.

Are those two piece scales or a stick????
Tim they are two pieces. I saw the work on progress photos, and there is a big slab of steel there.
Super nice. In every way. Superb craftsmanship.
Thanks Sam
Heck of a good looking knife.
Definitely would take on some extra effort to make.
154 steel????
That's really cool

I always liked the loveless chute knives. Rick did a great job on it, the loveless style bolts and green micarta are great touches

no, I specified A2 steel. I'm old school.
The Postman delivered today. Rick has produced another flawless knife. I am very, very pleased. I just can't take a good picture though.

it was an option, but I declined. The original was designed that way to be able cut parachute lines, but I am not jumping out of planes, and just don't need the top edge sharp
nice .that is way cool I am glad you have it .congrats sam
