I made a 7 degree handle shaped forging fixture out of RC29 4140 steel.
I pounded in the temporary handle and then hammered the chisel sideways on an anvil [ railroad track].
I put the chisel on a magnetic square and ground the edge on a CBN abrasive disc.
I made the real handle out of a Maple table leg.
