A buddy stopped by to visit today, and gifted me with this neat old Coricama knife. Italian, pre WWII, I believe. It cleaned up good, and I rigged a lanyard so as to not drop it over board.
this has to set a record for the most 'I don't give a chit' thread in 'fire history. Laughing. It is one heck of a good knife, and it's going to my son, who sails often, and owns boats.
the fellow that gifted me with this one carried a Camillus sailor knife in the Navy. He retired as Chief of Boat on boomer boats. His did not have the seem ripper blade either, just the marlin spike and the one blade.
