I just recently got into the custom knife game.....always looking to add more. I only have 3 at the moment and before my ordering goes any further would appreciate some reccomendations from those of you with more experience than me.

I currently have an Ingram yellow jacket in d2. Carry it everyday for a multitude of tasks.
A Charlie May bobwhite in d2 ( cleaning small game)
And a winston 43 in d2 i plan to use on dressing deer.

My hunting consists of 90% small game. (Squirrels, rabbits and ruffed grouse) the other 10% is deer and predators. Knife for predators is of no concern.

What am I missing? There’s probably nothing I can’t do with the above mentioned blades and duplicates are fine. So with the above criteria what would you be adding based off your personal experience? I need some color I know. Thinking an Ingram #4 B&T is a must, and maybe a Charlie May skipjack (although I must confess....idk why I want the skipjack lol)

You've got it covered with the #43.

I like the #45 a touch more.

#91 is a nice skinner blade

You need a pocket fixed blade for casual,a fillet for fish & kitchen. A traditional pocket knife. A Santoku,better get your wife a parer. You are missng a lot

Vince-I have several traditional folders from GEC.....strictly looking at fixed blades at the moment. I have a 16bore in the works from menefee, thinking the skipjack fro may could do the kitchen work.....no wife, thought not having a wife was the way to afford toys lol.

Thought about that one. Already waiting on a skipjack from May though and I’m not too sure what I plan to do with it lol. And the kingfisher/skipjack seem very similar to each other? Correct me where I am wrong?

You need a Dozier Knives K-12 Small Game Skinner. It is the best squirrel disassembly tool that I have ever used, by far!

what you have will easily process anything you hunt. If you need more, that's fine, but you are covered. I like Tim Olt's knives, and one of his would not be out of place in that group shot.
