Now that I can post pics again.

Here is one that was given to my father around 1940. The man never threw anything away, god bless him. Check out the original box. Just like new but the knife has been used and carried or about 25 years that he used it.

I had one of those knives, very well thought out design a useful size knife for the task.

The box and sheath are probably worth more than the knife. Not that you would want to sell it.

1940? Wonder if that knife was made before Remington sold off its cutlery business.

Either way that is a great survivor that any collector would be proud to own.
