I picked this little knife up from Tim Olt in 2017. I took it with me out to Wyoming on a hunt, and it did a lot of work processing dead Antelope. Back in Florida, it has helped put wild hog, deer and fish into the freezer. I put it on the EdgePro twice, mostly just touching it up on a strop. D2 steel blade is just 2 3/4 inches. Handle is some very nice butterscotch Micarta. I am taking it next week on a 4 day kayak/camping trip as my primary belt knife. The functional sheath is by Doug Maas, also of the 'fire.
Just saying I am pleased with this knife would be an understatement. smile

Good to hear, looks like a handy little bugger...
Sam
Glad to hear that nice report.

I just was going thru some stuff and found two sister blanks to that blade that are not ground.
They are heat treated to 61Rc according to the note with them.
Not sure why not ground yet.

What is that fruit in the background????

Tim

Tim, two blanks means a great opportunity for someOne. Fruit is oranges, ripening up nicely.
Looking closer, I can see that. Not used to seeing them any color other than grocery store painted.
Sounds like a Christmas basket for Tim.

Happy Anniversary on the knife, Sam, and glad the orange tree has now popped.

Sort of short. Good fruit knife I suppose, except for the larger pineapples and melons.

That “short” blade is about perfect... wittle up a elk, cape a buck or slice cheese...
