1) drill blade and wood in drill press or mill
2) cut out handle shapes on bandsaw
3) prepare pins and mix epoxy

4) clamp blade, skins, and pins together while 5 min epoxy hardens
5) Take knife out of the clamps
6) start filing
7) Finish filing to shape, rub with sandpaper, rub with tru oil
getting better all the time!

Looks good. Hope your last step was sharpen. Sharpening is best done just before packing it up and mailing. But I don't follow my own advice and have bled because of it.
I make sure I wrap copious amounts of blue tape around the blade while belt sanding the scales into shape. That way I have a handle while I make a handle.

Did you treat the blade to make it black (last photo) or is that just lighting?(can see it's a different setting)
