I finished these this week. I am really liking the top knife. I plan on trying it this hunting season if I manage to draw a tag or two. The Skinner has been through a good workout as I have been hammering it through all the different hardwoods I have in my woodpile. The edge has held up good and it cleaned up well for the picture. Steel is 80CRV2.

Thanks, the color was listed as Natural/Pistachio but it changes color slightly with different liners.

Thanks Judman, hope I get some blood on them this fall.
If you keep up , you really need to get a maker's mark set up. Stamp or etch.

Mike which would you recommend.

Those look sweet!
I'd rather etch but set-up is pretty expensive.Stamp you just have to plan ahead looking where grind ends and handle starts.

Mike ,

I can look around and get some reviews of who to look at. I may go watch a few videos also on how to etch. It would be good to be able to put a nice maker's mark on them.

I had mine made by Infinity Stamps. I drew it up, called them and told them what I was going to be stamping, agreed on a size and voila. I couldn’t be happier.

Here's an idea for RNF. With his initials, I'd make my logo a takeoff of the FNH design. Almost same letters, different order and gun people would recognize it.

UPhiker,
Neat ideal, I need to look into it.

Had some from ever stamp for 20 years. A little more expensive but I’ve never rolled one from that company

I have them bookmarked so I can contact them when I decide what I want.
