My dad is an avid knife collector and love knives as much as I do guns, maybe more so what better gift than a customer knife for retiring after 43 years with the same company.

I contacted Steve with KSR Blades last June with the request as soon as my dad told me he was going to hang up his hat. I had previously had Steve make a Hunter for him so I now requested he do a Bowie to match.

In March, Steve let me know the knife was ready and soon it arrived at the house. As always, he truly outdid himself and far exceeded my expectations. Steve is a phenomenal blade Smith and you will not find a nicer person. This goes for his wife as well.

Dad is officially retired and I was able to give him the knife. He was of course excited and loved the knife. Do yourself a favor and check out KSR Blades.

No problem. Handsome knives and a wonderful gift from a loving son. Least I could do since you shared.

It’s a small token of appreciation for all the things he’s done for me all my life and being a heck of a role model.

My dad is getting close to retirement. Really past it.

Thinking of a knife also.
