In the same spirit as the Favourite Knife thread, what's your fave pocket sharpener for touching up a field knife or any knife for that matter?

I have a couple here that are pretty crappy. Not even going to post pics.

Need to upgrade based on actual experience. Post away! smile

Spare blades for the Havelon

I carry a small ceramic stick epoxied into a small piece of deer antler, but rarely need it unless I'm boning one out in the field.

Looks like the Outdoor Edge knife one-upped Havalon by making it much easier to change blades in the field.
A strop. Unless it’s a muddy beast then a ceramic and strop. Really if weight wasn’t an issue a smooth steel and strop is what I need. Most people are completely clueless on how to sharpen knives or when they should be. Learn to use a strop and steel and you won’t nearly need to grind away on your blade as often. When out in the field I almost never need to sharpen a blade unless I swiped the ground or something. Don’t use your skinning knives for anything else.
This is the handiest one I have found that I keep in my pack. It has a ceramic bar to do touch ups and a pull thru ( both carbide and ceramic) if more serious work needs to be done. Few other features like mini tork bits and a screw driver .Plus A pull thru ceramic sharpener for scissors. Les than $20. I saw it for $17..

DMT double sided folder. It's light and compact and good for quick use. I have the Fine/Course and use the Course on machete's, hatchets, etc then occasionally touch them up with the Fine. I only use the Fine on hunting knives and that's a rare thing. If I was only doing hunting knives with it I'd get the Fine/Extra Fine.

i use one of those Smith, yellow, D-handled things that are sold everywhere. i do my serious knife sharpening at home on a 3 stone Norton multi-oilstone.
Pragmatic knife sharpening tidbit:

put your car/truck window down about halfway. Treat the rounded bead-blasted top edge of the window as a ceramic stick. A few strokes on each side of the blade really hones up the edge. Not exactly something you keep in your pocket IN the field, but a handy tool to use before you leave the vehicle to hunt.
If I'm off away from everything, I'll have a Norton pocket
stone, or an arkansas stone similar to the one shown
in the other thread. ( 4"×1 1/2" roughly)
If I'm at a place with a vehicle or tractor etc. I don't
worry with carrying dressing tools or tools for refreshing
the edge

What I use is the size and thickness of a credit card, stainless steel, coated or impregnated with very fine diamond abrasive. It rides in my wallet, takes up no more space than the various licences and credit cards. I bought it many years ago, and I'm sorry, but I don't recall the brand. That and my leather belt or sling for a strop and I have all I need for a quick touch-up to an edge in the field.

The Gerber Vital is much easier to change the blades on than a Havalon and still uses scapel blades.

The blades are also much more robust, IMO. I really like the OE Razor I have.

I don't use them because they don't seem to work and probably do more damage than good. Carry a couple good blades with you and use real sharpener when needed.

Lansky Quadsharp has worked well for me.

Buck made a fantastic tool, came with a holster. Too bad they are not made anymore.

I saw this one on ebay:
