I have found a buck to target on my property.
This guy started showing up a couple of weeks ago on 2 different cams that are within 200 yards of each other.
Don't think I've ever targeted a 6 pt before.
This is one of the better pics we have[on sons cam].
It's standing about 50 yards from my favorite box blind, and with rain forecast for Saturday's Virginia MZ opener I'm sure that is where I'll be most of the day.

Thinking he may be a bit older than most taken at our place.

Great looking buck, I would shootem for sure, I have a nice 6pt mounted, ,big 6pts are hard to come by , mine doesn't have brow tines and were not stand out white, good luck juvy hunt here this weekend

I got a nice 6 in the same field 9-10 years ago[no browtines]. Be cool to get another there w/brows.

Have 6 weeks total between MZ and rifle to get after it.[we received a 2 week extension to rifle this year due to exploding #'s].

Just needs the girls to cooperate and lead him in!

I'm about 95% certain that he was a monster spike last year.
I saw the spike one time, he had what looked to be a 15" or so spread and mass in the beams very similar.

I’ve only ever seen one spike like that. Could never get a clear shot at him. He was a smart old sob.

Quite the household there, a one, two punch on deer. Congrats.

I was headed to work the morning I saw it last year. Sat in driveway and had a conversation with it.
Told him I sure hoped to meet up again soon, never saw him again.

We have a trait of big six points at our place in southern VA, I killed one that looked a lot like this a couple of years ago and a 23” wide six the following year. I would be happy shooting mature six’s every year.

This guys brother/son/cousin popped out in front of our house @ about 7 this AM.
He worked a scrape that larger buck made last Saturday.
Nearly identical in antler size.
So far just crappy cell pics from about 100 yds of both.
Going to move some cameras around this evening.

Time to load up the TC.
