Looking at this caliber. Interested in deer hunting experience.

Our deer , especially does run about 75-100 lbs dressed.
I started using a 105 berger last year for doe culling with great success.
It's DRT on several deer... and it does a lot of damage.
I plan on using some 105 scenars to compare
I like it the caliber so much I bought another one in Ruger predator as my daughter took over my fieldcraft.
Bought some 100 gr Hornady interloks for closer shots.

Ballistic twin to the .243, until you want to use long, pointy bullets, then the Creed has a big edge over 99% of factory .243s. That’s all, from a hunting perspective. Right now, ammo for the 6 is generally more available because it’s less popular.

All I’ve shot with mine is a couple of foxes, but my son borrowed it last year and DRTed a nice fat doe with a 95gr LRX.

What I'm looking at is my LGS has a Ruger American Predator package he made up for $695. It includes a Sig Sauer 3-9x40 Buckmaster scope, Leupold Rifleman rings, and two boxes of 108 gr eld match ammo.

I have two 6 CM, fieldcraft and the Ruger predator. The Ruger shoots great, trigger needed some work but overall accuracy is a plus, stock is somewhat cheap but works.
