Got the call today while I was out fishing that he was ready to be picked up. Couldn't load the boat quick enough. My wife had most of the input on the specifics of the mount. Which I'm happy about because it turned out great and I couldn't be more pleased. We decided to keep him in the living quarters section of our barn. It's setup like a little cabin and it the deer really helps tie it all together.

That looks fantastic congrats. If you wouldn’t mind sharing who did it I’d love to know. The taxidermist I use is getting up in age.

May find this hard to believe, but I personally don't like the look of a mounted Muskie. Or at least I've never seen a mount that I really liked. If I had to do one it would be the mount that they put in a table under glass.... but they really aren't my cup of tea.

That and I've never caught a Muskie 50" or better. Not sure I've ever even seen a 50+. One fish stands out and comes to mind but I'm not sure.

My wife is a he'll of a woodsman and cattle women, but she only kills snakes and varmints. She has beaver, bobcat, fox, turkey, rattlesnake, fish, elk, and deer mounts in her house that she has to keep the dust off.

Nope, just a barn with a living quarters. FWIW, we are planning to open it up next year for "wedding venues". Already had the barn and property so thought we would give it a shot. Can find us on google and Facebook under "Rolling Acres Farm". Thanks for the compliments guys. It's much appreciated.

We have a neighbor that does that. They have Weddings, Halloween parties, Breakfast on the farm, Craft fairs, various parties and all sorts of other events.
