Finally got “Wide Willie” back from a friend of a friend who beetle cleans and camo dips. Shot him on Veteran’s Day last year(Nov. 11th) about an hour after I watched a 6 point, four doe and a button buck feed on through past me. Biggest crossbow buck to date. Not as heavy as “Buck-Buck” my 2012 rifle buck pictured below him, but definitely wider.

He kinda reminds me of a stag, with the wide rack, but lower tines. I think he underachieved a bit…there’s plenty of room between the brows and G2’s for another tine!

It's a unique rack and mount, Doc, that's for sure - congrats!

Years back a local won the big buck T contest. Rack was 45 inches wide and about 10 inches tall.

Thanks! Right place, right time, looking in the right direction, but got lucky because he almost slipped away to my 8 o’clock. Glad he stepped on the stick that snapped loud enough for me to hear him!
