There is a remote 2 acre clearing on some land I purchased recently. I never planted a food plot before because of all the ag land, but decided to give it a try. Cleared it by hand this spring because could not get any machinery to it. Cut a path to it so I could get a ATV and small trailer in. Borrowed a 4' section from and old iron harrow from the neighbor and worked it up and planted beans.

Trail cam set there didn't show many deer all summer until recently.

We used to plant a small patch of black eyed peas every year. The deer would now then to the ground !

between the farmers crops and your plot…you should have no problem getting some wall decorations for that nifty little cabin. Nice! 😎

Nicely done!! Once the leaves start to yellow on the beans (or before) I like to overseed with some wheat or cereal rye. Helps extends the groceries and is good for the soil.
