The draw was months ago. That's the hardest unit in the state to draw in just because of those huge bucks. They're well known. The drawing odds this year were a whopping 3% and I was part of the 97%. Idaho doesn't have a point system so you take your chances every year.

Brother drew. We spent 7 days in there, hiking in 3 miles every morning. Every day we saw deer, bucks got better by the day as we learned the lay of the land. People at the trail head said there wasn't anything in there. Ours were the only boot prints past .5 mile

Brother missed his cross canyon shot at the baddest boy we found in the area. Easy 160+. Body like an elk. Had to pull up stakes Friday morning, but he is going back in.

Amazing hunting trip finding bucks around every corner...

I got my llamas just for that kind of thing. Getting the tag is the hardest part of the hunt and I'm getting too old for many more tries.
