MI always starts on the 15th so opener can be mid week. A tradition I happen to like. Still you always have people looking to get crap at the last minute.

Always good to know where the backwoods gun shops are. They got supplies....

This one you need to really know where it is - dead end road off 2 other gravel roads but they can get you what you need. This was 1/3 of their supplies and ammo.

Other place I went had ammo for about everything, including 375 Ruger and 458 Win Mag. And they had a 375 Ruger/Ruger on the shelf I sorta wanted real bad.

A-

PM location if you don't mind. That serious powder supply is far greater than anything I've seen locally. blush
Likely worth a drive.

And good luck tomorrow.

Well, Fleet Farm, Cabela's and Walmart ammo availability still sucks if you don't have a .308, '06, .270, 7.62x39, 7 RM, Creedmoor or a Legend.

Deer hunting was tough - got snow/ice starting opening day and basically snowed 4 days straight. Deer acted more like week 2 than opener. I saw deer, just small/little ones not old enough to shoot. My son got a doe tag and took one though so we'll have something to chew on lol. Was really good to get in camp with him and my dad for some time. First since he was in High School in 2018. Brother and my cousin even made it out.

Opening day. Rifle literally frozen shut. Had to bring it in camp to thaw out to unload. I've never had that happen before in 35 years of hunting.
