Can't say as I have a clue. I guess that I had the impression that a few guys here had met and/or hunted with him. I'm pretty familiar to the area he called home, and a lot of what he said rang true, for me.

If I had to guess, I'd say the guy was probably mostly who and what he claimed to be, but maybe learned some internet tricks that he couldn't resist.
The fact that he seems to have just evaporated says a lot, though...
