Just got an email this morning from CP&W saying I was successful in drawing my deer tag for the fall!

Only 1 of our group drew. I applied for Preference Point only. There will be a whole bunch of folks in the draw next year with at least 1 point headed into the drawing. Probably take a couple of points to draw a private land only tag and more than that to draw a general tag…

Point creep got us in our unit, last year our number of points was guaranteed.

No tags for me this year. Taking my preference points and hunting in Vermont this fall.
