A wide 10 point with double drop tines.
How old is he?
Hard to tell from that photo but I would venture about 4 yrs old?
ya!
GWB
Old enough to shoot without hesitation 😃
I would say 4 yrs....nice one.
I’m going to say 5.5 years old.
The angles of the photos aren’t great but I’d say at least 4.5 and quite possibly older. In the color photo you can see he’s sway backed and has a bit of a pot belly, so definitely an older deer.
3 or 4 year old. Not much in the shoulders and chest, head and neck look slim, nice buck though. Be a great deer in two years blah blah, bust him if you like em!
Another vote for 3 or 4. He has potential if he makes it another two or three years. They quit growing when they hit the ground.
The sag in his belly and his long nose says he's a shooter. I do not have to look at him twice to determine that!
I've always felt the bigger mature older bucks are no neckers. My guess is this buck is around 4 years old.
I thought he was about 5 (5.5) years old. I have a lot of game camera photos of him, which are mostly at night, from the past 2 years and saw him last year on the last day of the season and could not get a shot. He busted me in my stand and stood looking directly at me for 30 seconds before turning and heading directly away behind a tree. He was a slick 10 point last fall and winter. If I get a shot this year I will take it. My place is bordered by a huge ranch on 3 sides that leases hunting rights to a few other hunters, although no hunters are within quarter mile of my place. the buck has survived for 2 seasons as a 10 point and maybe he will give me another chance this year.
Pass........thats the guy you want donating sperm for making future bux.
He looks like a 4.5 year old to me. Starting to show some maturity characteristics, but still pretty slender and long-legged looking.
If he is a Texas deer 4 or 5.
