He passed on two younger eight points and a pile of axis does.

Saw nice 8, caught. Pig in round pen but he went over 4 foot fence, left some hair for me.

As always Geedubya, Sweet rifle. Nice buck as well.

No deer harmed by me opening weekend. Just a couple of big uglies.

Hunted 5 days on our lease in Comfort. Had 2 small hogs lined up and the hammer back when the feeder went off and boogered them out of the canyon. Small bucks trailing and does with young fawns were the only deer seen. Maybe the Thanksgiving trip will be better.
Mohawk, that’s a good looking Savage. I’ve been wanting one in 300 Savage. Just not ready to spend the coins.
Seeing nothing but dinks and does, here so far. It was hit opening weekend. Ready for the rut to kick off in a few weeks.
Congrats to the boys Hanco. Looks like the bacon haulers are keepin ya busy shooting. Good luck on getting a toad of your own.😎

They weren’t moving at all, saw a few small bucks

It was slow for us also. Late in the morning my son shot a doe with his 257 WBY. It was for My BIL who is the land owner.

I talked to a fellow hunting on the next property. Asked if we had any game cam pics of good bucks. We were a little late putting cameras up this year. I said we had no pics of grown bucks and he said he had none either.

He then told us they shot two 10 pointers last year well I shot a decent 11 also so I thought to myself no wonder there's no good bucks we killed them all.
when we pulled the cards Saturday we finally had a pic of this buck and a decent 8.

Seabreeze bite the bullet and find a 99F in .300 Savage and spend the money. I highly suggest the F model for a hunting rifle and the .300 is an awesome round. I doubt you'll be disappointed. I personally think it is the perfect deer rifle for the type of hunting that I do.

I have a 300 F. I agree, fine round, shoots 130 Barnes really well.

I definitely need to buy one. Thanks for the suggestion on the F. I agree on the 300 Savage being a deer killer.
Congrats
