Daughter did real good this year with her 260. Got a real good antelope and now this old gnarly whitetail. Getting kind of tough to compete with her and her brother. Another 140 accubond victim. Busted shoulders and last seen heading towards Texas. Only problem with late season and good buck/doe ratios is lots of broken points. This guy lost 3 and busted his left G3 in half.
Wow very nice! Congrats to your daughter!!
Great buck. A congrats to your daughter.

Nice. The kids seem to be doing great this year. Congrats!!
congrats and can not wait to get my daughters into the field. just bought my 9yr old a 6mm rem to get started on
Great stuff. My 11yr granddaughter didn't score, but we still have doe season. Our 10yr great nephew shot a nice 9 point that we had been watching. My fishing buddy neighbor's 10yr old son stopped by last week with a huge 8point taken 1/4mi for my stand. Including my 8point and a guy from LA that got the 12point we were all watching, that makes 4 nice bucks taken within 1/2mi from my stand. Life is good.
Obligatory tailgate pic showing brow tines a little better. Hopefully the beetles eat quickly as we have to display that one in the family or rec room for her.
awesome girl power picture.
I thought a 260 might be too much rifle for mine, mebbe I'll rethink that.
Congrats to you & your daughter!!!! I would of shot him too!!!! Very nice buck! I hope my daughter hunts one day but she is only 3 right now.
Petr, we run a fast twist for stabilizing bigger bullets for possible elk hunts in her future. If you run 100 or 120 grain bullets, it would be a great cartridge to use for smaller kids to start on.
Yes they are. Here's a huntress who thinks so.
BTW Three days earlier, I used the same rifle with the same effect.

Beware the woman (or guy for that matter)with a 260 in their hands. For big game will topple, never to arrise again. Excellent shooting/Beau-T-Ful Deer!

My brother from LA was in KS not long ago....just wonder if that was the guy.....
Congrats to your daughter. The 260 (6.5) rocks!
Young lady shot a dandy buck! Congratulations to her, and a good pat on the back to her dad. Looking like you raised her to recognize the finer things....
Yep, they are for girls. Any guy that has one should feel free send one to me. I would be extremely happy to have one and promise to give it proper care and feeding.
Be safe
