Rattled this one in last week. My wife shot him at 25 yards. Shot with a 7mm-08 and a Berger VLD. Through the vitals and out opposite shoulder.VERY happy to get him!This is a picture of her and one of our best friends that was with us that day.

she missed a bigger one last year (he almost stepped on her)She was wearing a hood that acted like blinders on a horse and didn't see him until he was right in front of her. She was busted when she brought her gun up. Experiences like that one make me wish I would remember to bring a video camera with me. Rattling whitetails is a blast! Thanks for the comments , its her best whitetail to date.
