I drew this hunt with an outfitter. Anyone who has info on the unit would be great. Not sure what to expect from the unit but it sounds like it has a lot of upside potential for a great buck. Thanks
How many points did you have?

Congrats Buzzie! I know nothing about those units. Here's what HF says about the 011-013 late hunt:

170"+ potential on the late hunt. Go prepared for everything as this is very remote country.

Just found out that I drew 061-068 late with 6 NR points. I am stoked!!!
Congrats on your late season hunt. I drew the tag with 3 points, which I think we got lucky. It was a party hunt and between me and my friend we averaged 3 points.

Looks like you're an HF member too Buzz . . .
Yep but I still like to get as much info from others as I can. I'm going to ask them for a list of members for that unit in the past just to see what to expect. Thanks
Who will you be hunting with?
I know the country well and guided antelope there years ago. There is a lot of Wilderness study area closure to vehicles there now, but there are also BIG bucks.

My friend took this photo while scouting last year before the season.

This was in 011 and is typical of that unit. 013 has some good higher country and some great deer around the rim-rocks; they tend to lie under them and sun themselves and feed on late fall green up.

I've always seen good animals in 011, the flatter of the units, and 013 has some giants.

The area at the east side of Painter Flat (the NV side of it near CA) produces giants, also.

I'm hunting with Sean Shea and a buddy. 6 day hunt that will take place after the full moon.

Thanks everyone for your input.
Sounds like a great chance for a good buck. Sean Shea, IIRC, has a bunch of critters in the NV record book.
