Handsome young lady and a great looking deer. Congratulations to you both on a memory that neither of you will ever forget.
Great job. Nothing is better than seeing your kid have success.
Couple of proud hunters....congrats!!
Thanks for posting the pics. How did you do that?
Have to run her lunch to school she forgot. Then I'll write up the story this afternoon.

Sorry Mac, can't find it. Read through the link & let me know if you need more help.
Hunting season started out with car problems 30 miles in to a 4 day hunt. Had to turn around and head home and cancel the hunt. Alli didn't talk to me for about 4 hours as frustration and anger set in since she had built this hunt up so much. So fast forward a week and we were able to get out for a day hunt. We did see a few deer but no shots were fired.
Last Thursday she had the day off school so we headed up with a few days to hunt if needed. Left the truck right before daylight. 1st pic is Alli a ways after we left the truck.
2nd pic We sat down about 3/4 mile in to rest and glass some country.I told her to keep checking behind us. 3rd pic Sure enough 2 does came up over the ridge. She got set up and waited for one to clear the skyline then she shot.
4th pic While waiting the other doe headed right towards us to about 20yds
5th pic Then we headed over to see what we could find. The doe stumbled down hill after the shot and disappeared behind some brush.
6th/7th pic This is how we found her.
So we made it an hour into the hunt and she got her deer. Very proud one 120 yd shot to the heart. Told her her to go a bit higher next time but can't complain with a dead deer. She also killed it with the same rifle I killed my first deer with 28 years ago. Only change since then was the youth stock I put on for her.
Last pic Need to work a bit on photos only one of us kinda turned out
Good job on her 1st hunt, Congrats to all involved.
Congratulations young Lady.
What are those skinny sticks attached to the forend? They look SO much lighter than the bipod I have on my 25-06!
Wow what an adorable hunting partner you have there! So cool for both of you congrats!
Thanks for taking the time; please congratulate your daughter for me. It's a special young lady who can put meat on the table for the family!
Awesome job to you too dad that's the best...
That is so cool to see the young ones getting out and being successful. Congrats!!
