I can't argue if a miss can kill a deer. I have been present for 620 yard shot on an antelope doe that you could pass a beer can sideways through behind her shoulders. Behind her looked like a fire bomber retardant drop from the offal spray. They are difficult to see ones hits while watching through the scope...
I've shot deer with my own 50 bmg. I don't know where all this huge hole stuff comes from. Mine have been 50 in 50 out, and run like hell too, leaving not much to trail. Trailing the path of the slug in the brush was easier than the deer for sure.
Far from a deer, but when I was young I saw my Dad shoot at a crow in field about 150? yrds away. We could only see it`s head and neck sticking up from behind a small knob. He shot, the crow dissapeared. When we picked the bird up, his eyes were bulged out of his head...but not a mark on em. 250/300 using an 87 gn bullet of some make. FWIW.
I call BS but Keith "High Fence" Warren believes he missed this deer and still killed it.
The list is long and storied but Keith Warren could very well sit alone atop the "biggest douche bag" on the hunting industry list. And that was before viewing that video.
Typically I just shoot my slingshot in the general direction of a deer and they explode due to the concussion of the passing projectile. The meat is already cooked and I just pick it up and eat it. Pretty normal stuff as I'm sure you all have experienced.
Before the days of The Outdoor Channel and other outdoor channels, I would watch Warren and I think maybe his brother on their outdoor shows and I enjoyed the ones on bass fishing. The 1st time I watched him on his high fence and breeding of freak deer show, I was done. Douche Bag (to me) doesn't start to describe him. Can't imagine how he gets sponsors for that crap.

YMMV I guess.
Shockwave... ROTFLMAO
Saw a guy shot in the arm a few inches from the wrist with a .50 cal. .50 in, .50 out, and no real damage. Luck and a hell of a scar.

Same I've seen, RE damage. I often wonder if folks that think it blows deer in half just THINK that, certainly they've never SEEN it. My buddy actually said you must have missed. He was filming the shot. We followed tracks only until the deer cut down a different trail... it was almost 200 yards away. Never blood until she fell over.
There is no need to say he’s an idiot of course - Until you realize he’s trying to teach people things he knows zero about and making an arse out of himself at the same time.
What a goober LOL
If a 50 hits something before it hits you however, say a vehicle or concrete wall and then it hits you .... narly
He sure likes to shoot deer in a high fence. Probably some of his pets. Can't call it hunting. I am amazed this guy can get any sponsors for his show or for that matter anyone to watch his shows. He is a joke. I sure don't waste my time watching his show. I also despise this deer farming crap.
