Saturday (11/10/18) had a doe come by my stand acting strange around 7:30. Decided it was time to break in my CamX X330 Crossbow so I let one fly about 35 yards through her heart. Got out of the stand and found her about 25 yards away in the brush.

Decided to get back in my stand and text my buddy to bring the Ranger to haul her out. As soon as I put the phone down all I see is antlers coming through the woods on the same trail the doe was taking. He came right by at 20 yards and with a bolt through the heart I watched him stumble 15 yards and go down.

My best buck to date by far with 14 or 15 scorable points thinking he should net around 150". While I was waiting for the Ranger with both deer down had a second buck come along the same trail a few minutes later as well.







Edit: before anyone says it this property is not high fenced. The farm behind ours is an organic farm that has put up 10' tall fence all around to keep everything out.

That's a really big buck and impressive trophy for you. I often hunt with my older Hunt Master crossbow. They changed the name of the company to Ten Point about 15 years ago. But it shoots as new and I'm keeping it.
