I have always wanted one since I was in high school and graduated in 2006 now I am looking for a 1894 fg or s in 41 mag I know that they are beyond tough to find but was wondering if someone in here had any leads
If money isn’t a priority you can find one.
Imo, the FG feels alot more chunky than the S. If that matters to you. I had a FG and it felt huge.
I have a S&W M57 8 3/8".
I'd give just about anything for a Marlin .41 Rem Mag companion.
All, if any of you are still looking for an FG, I have one that I am considering letting go of. Note; its not going to be cheap. PM me for more details.
What is the difference between an fg and the s version?
I can’t send a PM, but would like to discuss your FG.
The fg and pg have pistol grips.Pg is 44 mag.

There's a lot of barely used forums here. Go to any of them and make 16 more posts and then you can PM.
I bought an early production FG with the pistol gripped stock and absolutely hated the way that it looked and handled . I'm fine with the336 being pistol gripped but the shorter action 1894 just isn't right with the pistol grip. I moaned and groaned about it so much on the Marlinowners.com website until a guy traded the lower metal, lever and stock to make mine a straight stock as all the '94s should be.
If it is the Marlin that you truly want don't settle for anything less!
I love my CCL in .41 Mag!!

Not many out there. Be prepared to pony up or go home.
