A friend called and asked if I was interested in a few guns. One of them the Marlin above. He is asking $650, it is a JM blued missing the sight hood. A few dings in the stock. From the pictures and what I see on Gunbroker they are a blued 22” 45/70.

I picked it up. He gave me 5 boxes of factory Hornady levr ammo and a box of FTX bullets to load. The gun has had a limbsaver added but does not appear to be cut. Also a tru glo front sight that is missing the fiber optic. Other than that very good condition

Look at going price for the ammo alone!

I did $57 for the leverev 325 gr FTX x 5= $285 plus a box of the FTX bullets.
Thing is I bought it to flip. My buddy new that. He set the price and told me to make some money.
