I have a 1973 Marlin Glendield Model 60 that my father law asked me to look at because the action was stuck closed. I was able to get it free by soaking in penetrating oil and then I broke it down and run it thru ultra sonic cleaner, lightly oil and reassembled. While working the action the it is gettin hung up going forward and back closed slightly but it can still move it with a little push. I don’t see any wear marks on the inside of the receiver or bolt. Can someone give me some ideas of what may be the issue please?

Thanks
I have had several given to me but i did buy one for myself.

It seems to shoot better than the price but when it got even a little dirty it was slow or quit altogether.

I got good about taking it apart but found that wear was the problem most times.

The same parts were bad on all of guns i had back then.

Might just be wear.
