What happened to marlinowners.com? It's been down for days. It was shaping up to be another good replacement for MT (along with this forum). Don't know if they're having server problems or if they're shutdown for some reason.

Anyone know?

I believe it's down because they're switching over to a dedicated server. There were warnings posted about a disruption in service. I miss it too, it was getting to be "home" since the mass eviction from Marlin Talk.

As of today, it is still shut down. Hope it gets up and running soon. It's been a really long dry spell waiting on the site to re open. But this is a good site also. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Do you eat the same food at every meal? I don't.

I just can't get motivated to figure out where everyone went. About the time, I get used to another site, something happens. I miss Marlin Talk, but this site is nice also.

I couldn't agree more.Thank's to Marlin shutting down,some of us have found this one.It will remain on my top three list from now on even after getting off to a rockie start here from my sloppy choice of words.A lot of intelligent folk's on the various forums here with a lot for this old dog still to learn.But Marlin owners and Larry are trying very hard to provide the same and most of us can walk and chew gum at the same time.This is what I got this am.

I sure hope he finds one soon! I like many of the forums I have visited, and this one is no exception, but I sure felt that Marlinowners was headed in the right direction. (At least for my tastes)

Marlin Owners Discussion boards are back under construction on the new dedicated server. I have a base board installation in now. It only has a test forum and your accounts have not been restored yet. I am working on getting things back as they were. Please bear with me and we will be in full swing soon.

Hey I'm seeing that some of you guys are posting on there and I can't get my account to work and I lost my postition on the third page of the memberslist. Any ideas as to whats happening? I have sent Larry an email. Did you all have to reregister?

I had to re-register myself. I haven't had any problems other than that though. People have had problems with avatars though. The site owner said to "link" to your picture you want to use as an avatar for now. You can't upload and store one on the server right now he said. (People have been getting errors messages)
