I tried the search function but don’t find what I needed.
Has the original JM stamped Marlin kept there value or have the Remlin taken over.
Thanks for the help

I would think so...Remlins are thought by many to be junk.

I have a JM Marlin ported 45/70 with the strait grip, that I hardly ever use (closet queen) and I would like to get an idea as to what there value is? I would guess mine 80-90% with nice furniture. Not sure if they go for $350.00 or $950.00.
Thanks for your help

Thanks for your post.
I have heard the same thing. But some have posted good things about the Remlin and some not so good.
Thanks again

Among those who fancy Marlins, the "Remlins" are considered of significantly lesser value. I don't see that changing any time soon.

Regarding your rifle, many do not like ported barrels, some do. Thus, your market is limited somewhat. Without seeing your rifle, it is impossible to offer a good opinion.

Generally speaking, I would expect a DOM 2000 Ported M1895 Guide Gun in 85% condition to fetch between $550 - $700. (Location also has a bearing on value)
