I have a very early model 94 38-40 serial 11xx, the ejector spring broke and am in need of a replacement. It appears these were fitted to the receiver and I imagine these are rare. Anyone know where to get one?

Thanks for any help.
I bought one few years ago for a 1906 or so Marlin 94 in 38-40. I believe it was from Jack First (SP). It was shorter than the original one, but worked. As I remember there are two different versions.I still have the original one here, but it is worn. With mine,I removed the bolt and the the ejector pulled out. The new one took no fitting. It laid in a slot in the receiver.

Marlin MFG dates shows a 1100 as before 1883, It might be tough.I think Jack First will make one,but not sure.

I have a very old Gun Parts Catalog. So they might not have it but it list an Ejector w/spring that is like the one I had . All one piece. Then it list an Ejector Spring ( new style) and ejector, old style

Midway and Brownlls shows this one and I am sure it is the new style
