Got some big loops made by Muleman Gun Works. Got em in and installed. Very pleased! The 1894 is a 357 project gun im starting to tinker with and the 336 30-30 is one ive been fooling with for a while. It is a 1977 model and started life as a pistol gripped gun. Well im not a fan so i switched it out first chance i got. Id love to find a 24" octogon barrel for both of them.
Those look good. I am not a fan of the huge John Wayne loop but those look nice and look like they give a little more room to work with.
Nice ...couple of pre '79 Marlins...
Pre safety & gold trigger
Started working on slicking up the action on the 94 using the guide on marlin owners forum. Got it better but still not quite where i want it. Gonna pull it apart forst chance i get.
I bought a 65 saddle ring the other day so it kinda has my attention atm.
You have excellent taste in rifles, here's mine:
1904 1893 in 30/30
2009 1894 in .357
1985 336TS in 30/30
There are all very nice Marlins.

Where do you get the straight stocks?
You dont find as many straight grips as pistol grips. I prefer em.

And an ol saddle ring 30-30 i just picked up. Its a 65 i think. Scope is gone.
You have excellent taste in rifles,
As do you!
On the first 30-30 i posted i bought a crusty ol texan in a pawn shop and swapped out everything from it to my pistol grip gun. All the others came this way.
Thanks for all the compliments yall
little better pic of the saddle ring, without the crusty ol scope. lol
22LR % 44Mag
Covers everything from soup to nuts, and no pesky safety's.
Field Grade,
did you have to drill for the Williams Sight?
My hunting buddy just came across a 44 mag that has a very loose buckhorn sight. That peep looks like it would be just the thing for a woods rig in New England.

Here's the long and short of my Marlin collection, 22" barrel 1894 .218 Bee and 16.25" barrel Model 336 Marauder .35 Rem.:

Many Marlin fanatics would give their left nut for your Marauder!!!
I have to say that when I'm going to do a lot of walking while hunting, I always grab the Marauder. Nice and short and light. Since the photo was taken, I removed the clunky looking front sling swivel base and replaced it with a nice sleek Uncle Mikes base. Somebody had already installed swivels before I got it and, although I wouldn't have done that, it makes the gun even more handy so I'm not losing any sleep over it. LOL.
The waffle top 336-A's bring a tear to my eye.....very nice.
