Any experience on hogs ? Any proven loads?
Thanks
Since my .357 1892 rifle kills hogs, then your .35 Remington surely will. I use factory 125, 158, 180 grain loads, just avoid hollow point ammo.
I have had excellent performance from the Remington 200 grain Core Lokts in my 35 Remington. Got all or almost all out of about 6-7 hogs with a one shot kill. All distances were 100 yds or less.
The 35 Remington is easy to shoot and it does the job quite well.

Under the 100 yd mark, the .35 Remington is a sure killer.
35 Rem loaded with 43gr LVR underneath a Spears 220gr HC hit em hard!
This hog was toppled with 200 grain core-lokt ammo.

I've had good luck with both 200gr soft points and 220gr cast bullets.
This hog was toppled with 200 grain core-lokt ammo.

Sherwood,
Did your rifle stock come with the monte carlo or is it a replacement stock?
