Has anyone here had the Marlin jam?

I've read about it but haven't had it and I just wondered how common it really is.
Pretty common with the 1894. Happens usually when a groove is worn in the lifter. Easily fixed. Go to Marlinowners and search.

I have. I was just wondering if it's very common since when it happens it hits the forums and gets a lot of attention.

I've read about it but the dozen or so Marlins I've had haven't exhibited it.

I play alot with Marlin '94s.......sooner or later you'll get one that has a hiccup.........

workin' on one now...a '79 357...all original......I've polished her innards all up....twice....

when I close the lever with a live rd....kinda hangs up....I'll keep tweakin' her....

great ole rifles.......hard not to like 'em.......
