Marlin owners classifieds is terrible, don’t waste your time. Your ad must be absolutely perfect or they’ll delete it and then give you a tongue lashing.

I would stay away from Armslist- it is known to be the Craigslist of the gun world. If you are looking for free listings, there are dozens of forums like this one, but the traffic is higher here.

The rules for posting on the MarlinOwners Classifieds are clearly spelled out. Typically, if one fails to get it right, a moderator will tell the lister to fix it before actually deleting it. One must have at least 25 posts (I think that's right) before listing on the MO classifieds. The MO classifieds are not very active - nothing compared to 24hourcampfire. That said, the guys over there are Marlin fanatics so odds are there will be interest.

If it were me, I would definitely post on 24hrcampfire Classifieds.Posting on MO also may be worth you while.
