A Marble's Bullseye site on an 1886?
Mike
Not on an 1886. I use one on a Browning 1895 30-40 Krag and a Browning 65 .218 Bee.
Had one on a Rossi 92 in 357 mag. In the right light it was OK, but in the shadows I couldn't see it at all. I went back to the standard open sights.
Thanks for the info Jayhawker.

Finally spoke to a guy at Marble's he said they are a little tall on the 1886 so sometimes will shoot high with factory front site.
Yes, you will definetly need another front sight. Factory wont work
I had one on a 92 for a minute. I found it slower to use, harder to see, and no more accurate than the standard buckhorn.
