Recently bought a 100 pack of Rim Rock 335 Tc w/gc. Have tried various loads of H322 with Remington 9 1/2’s and CCI 250’s .
Rifle is 444ss micro groove .
Shoots cast performance pretty good , but the Rim Rocks are wobbling . Enough that GC strike is visible on paper .
50yds
Twist wrong for these bullets ?
Cast Preformance is 260gr and 320 gr , both cutting perfect bullet holes .
Thanks , Kenneth

Are they longer than the CP 320s? Could be twist or could be sizing coupled with a harder alloy that doesn’t bump up. I worked with a Microgroove 1894 44 that would keyhole .430 sized bullets that we’re too hard to bump up. I assumed they were undersized enough that they were stripping the rifling because larger bullets of the same profile shot fine.

Yep , they are longer , that’s why I thought barrel twist might be a factor . Thought about trading it in on a newer one with Ballard rifling , I think it is a faster twist .
But decided against that , 15 gr ain’t going to make any difference .

CP is only an inch lower than the FTX and RR is three inches lower with a slight key hole at fifty yds I figure bullet will be in a full tumble at 100 , so I guess I’ll just have to look at them , lol .
Thanks for the response .

For what it’s worth , the 335’s are too long for micro groove thist . Got a reply from Rim Rock .
Thought I’d throw it out there .
