A few minutes to kill and dropped by a gun shop. On the used rack was a beautiful Browning 1895 in 06. Price was under $700. Blueing was nice stock was well figured. I almost said I will take it. Them I seen the tag “ crack in stock“ sure enough right through wrist.
I put it back but am having second thoughts. Not sure if its been repaired. I can fix it, but sure it will show.
What are these selling for minus the crack. Been wanting a 95 for a while.

Sounds to there is a good bit of wiggle room in that price.
I paid $900 for the same rifle several years ago. Under 7 for a shooter sounds like a decent deal, IF you can repair the stock and still be able to safely shoot the rifle.

My rifle is of high quality and shoots well with 200 gr partitions at 2500 fps and 220 Sierras and partitions at 2400 fps.

Good luck.
I woulda started the hagglin as soon as I saw it.
