I have a JM stamped 45/70 1895G with a potted barrel that I am probably going to list. I picked this up on a partial buy/trade deal and don’t know what I’ve got in it. I also have a JM stamped 45/70 stainless that I may list as well

Both rifles have scopes mounted on them but the scope on the stainless rifle isn’t any good

Any idea on what a good price would be to start on these? I can post pics shortly

the best bet is to look at actual sold prices on places like Gunbroker.... Make sure you look at SOLD prices, not asking...

If they were mine, wouldn't take less than a thousand for the blue, more for the stainless...SOMEONE will buy them even at a higher price if you're willing to wait. Those guns are very desirable and sought after regardless of what anyone tells you!
