$2500... now that is funny... someone need to stop dreaming... I have an ABL which is identical to the SBL but blued... they are great guns but I have about $450 in mine
Check out what I found on GunBroker.com!

Same have sold for close to that.
Some used Remlins have gone for $1300 recently.

Should sell mine, and buy a new one when they come back in stock
That’s the asking price. Never get it. Why would anyone pay that kind of money for an over the counter Marlin 1895. You could buy a new customized WW Gun Alaskan Guide in 457 WW Magnum for around the same price.

Check "advanced search" then completed listings.

A Remlin 1895 SBL went for $2200 with 2 bids.

It's cause they were in a movie and not currently available at distributors. When another run gets out on shelves, prices will tank

Most of the "SBLs" in Jurassic film were made of resin.
Most of the prices on GB are nothing more than sucker bait, waiting for a dumb fish to swim by!!

Sorry I misread the tag , it's not 45-70.
Just get a 1st-tier 45-70 instead: Winchester 1886, and avoid the 2nd-tier Marlin.

Pffft...
Gee my jm stamped stainless guide gun “ must” be worth at least $5500 then🤣
A Remlin is currently up to $1650.
Dang, I got an unfired remlin sbl in the basement. Hmmmm....

Nah, I'll keep it, although there might be an idiot somewhere.
People are smoking crack.......
Another shipment got out from the factory so supply numbers went way up and the craziness stopped a while back.
Put a specific gun in a stupid movie and watch the buyers go crazy.
Remember the mid 70’s and beyond with the S&W 29? That lasted 10 years or so.
