Looking for guidance on the value of an 1895 JM stamped, ported stainless barrel guide gun. Is the value on these different from the non-ported version?

some people would be willing to pay more for the ported.......and vise versa

personal preference.....IIRC....I sold mine scoped up with a 4200 Bushy.....$800 to my SIL

$900 is more the street price for the rifle alone...don't forget they built the 450 Marlin too

ported/unported....same time frame...early 2000's....but.....I believe only blue/walnut

Either one is a Thumper.....as long as they run flawlessly

some love the ported some hate the ported.
what you do have going for you is the JM stainless. one sold here this week for 650.00. and I am still pissed I missed it. I see them usually around 800-900
