What does everyone thing of the pedersoli 1886 in 45 /70. What is the build quality?

Not the same slick action, but a good copy. I had a Browning 1886 many years ago and once I picked up an original Winchester, the Browning was sold.
A bit pricey compared to an original. But I recall they the receiver is drilled and tapped to allow the use of a WIlliams peep sight. PLEASE don't do that to an original.
This one is 110 years old.

Mine was rebarrelled and beat up wood. In 33 Winchester it was quite effective on deer. I suspect it would be good on bear and other big stuff. Mine was class of 1903. I always wished for an octagon rebarrel and this one has round. I had a marbles tang peep sight. It worked OK but I never needed it for the open sight forest and such that I hunted. Be Well, Rustyzipper.

Pedersoli has a good reputation so far as fit and finish. I have only handled their muzzleloaders and liked every one that I ever handled.
I see no reason to suspect less from their centerfires and cartridge reproductions.
